August 22, 2007 Today's entry is going to be a quick one because you can see the big news directly to your right. We have a cover, folks, thanks to the best commercial designer and artist I know, Amy Ferrante. The design is sexy, intriguing, and sophisticated ... I just hope the story lives up to it. Guess I shouldn't worry, though, since in the world of Ocean Raton most do judge a book by its cover. Instead, I should be struttin' like Midnight (you'll meet her in the book) and declaring, "Step aside, child, cuz we be bringin' sexyback!"
Back to my world (forgive me, I'm stoked about the cover). At some point soon we'll be posting Amy's story behind the artwork to the site. For now, if you would like to contact the artist direct EMAIL AMY.

Speaking of "stoked," the only other item to share is a site I recently discovered that is brilliant, hilarious, and educational. Before UrbanDictionary.com I would have ignorantly described a large bulge on the trachea of a woman as a "misplaced man part." Now I know the proper term is "Madam's Apple."
As the above illustrates, the stuff you'll find will no doubt prove invaluably useful, plus you'll be able to impress the kids with your hip street speak. And fellas, add some of this jive to your wrap and you just might impress a fine puma. You dig?
